Occupational Health and Safety Advisor - Crawford Street

Play a pivotal role in driving Occupational Health and Safety supporting our logistics and manufacturing operations in the Waikato with the main focus on our growing Crawford Street Cool Stores operation. A role with plenty of variety, you will influence, coach and support staff and managers as you implement H&S programs and initiatives. Strive for continuous improvement in health and safety for the betterment of the business.

Utilise your exceptional people skills as you build effective relationships with a broad range of people from on site staff members to external health providers. As a skilled communicator, you also have the ability to influence as you coach and encourage others to adopt safe work practices in order to further minimise risk and injury.

Ideally you have a relevant tertiary qualification and experience in an occupational health and safety role within a manufacturing environment. You demonstrate a sound knowledge of risk and injury management and have experience in developing Health and Safety policies, leading programs and initiatives, hazard identification and preparing and analysing reports.
