Your passion and commitment to this critical business function will attract you to this autonomous role with our sophisticated FMCG manufacturing client.  They operate on two sites producing premium products for New Zealand and a healthy export market.

 

Reporting to the HR Director this role is supported by two staff.  Your brief is to manage the Safety Health and Environmental functions for the business.  Responsible for driving strategy and engaging senior stakeholders, you will ensure effective policies procedures and systems are in place therefore maintaining a high level of safety awareness, accident prevention, rehabilitation and environmental consciousness.

 

Proven operational SH&E experience in manufacturing and a relevant tertiary qualification is required.  Your demonstrated leadership capability plus excellent communication and influencing potential is paramount in this key role.  Sound report writing, problem solving ability and your keen desire to drive results will make you successful.  Exposure to a food manufacturing environment will be held in high regard.
