New Fire Safety and Evacuation Regulations

The Fire Safety and Evacuation of Buildings Regulations 2006 comes into effect October 2006. The regulations are more prescriptive on the evacuation scheme approvals process, hazardous substances and warden training programmes.  The NZ Fire service are currently updating their Evacuation Scheme web page to provide guidance and new application forms.
