NZISM Professional Standards Framework for the Development of Health & Safety Professionals

NZISM Professional Standards Framework for the Development of Health & Safety Professionals

The key question NZISM has addressed in developing the Standards Framework is "How do we measure the competency, knowledge and methodology of occupational health & safety practitioners?"
Our members can now apply to the NZISM Professional Membership Grading Panel for an assessment against the Standards Framework and, if successful, registration as a professional member. A revalidation process is then undertaken every 2 years to ensure standards are maintained and ongoing professional development has been undertaken.
