Play a pivotal role in driving Health and Safety supporting manufacturing operations at our Te Rapa site. A role with plenty of variety, you will influence, coach and support staff and managers as you implement H&S programs and initiatives. Strive for continuous improvement in health and safety for the betterment of the business.

Utilise your exceptional people skills as you build effective relationships with a broad range of people from on site staff members to external providers. As a skilled communicator, you also have the ability to influence as you coach and encourage others to adopt safe work practices in order to further minimise risk and injury.

Ideally you have a relevant tertiary qualification and experience in a health and safety role within a manufacturing environment. You demonstrate a sound knowledge of risk management and have experience in developing Health and Safety policies, leading programs and initiatives, hazard identification and preparing and analysing reports.

A full driving licence would be a distinct advantage as travel between sites may be required on occasion.
