We are looking for those able to demonstrate:
- Proven track record of success – Credibility within Industry
- Experience of working on high value projects and understanding the dynamics of this
- High degree of relationship management internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to provide professional leadership, guidance, advice and support for the organisation and associated parties for compliance with
- Health and Safety legislative requirements including HSE Act, HSNO Act etc
- Ability to lead the HS (E) team to deliver Health and Safety excellence for the organisation by active management, auditing, monitoring and review of the systems and processes to ensure safe systems of work are in operation at all times
- Ability to manage and work across multiple sites and be able to operate at a strategic, operational and technical level providing safety leadership
- Having excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage the workforce and senior leadership teams and earn respect, influencing and coaching at all levels.
- Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience within a project related environment.
Mandatory requirements
5 – 10 years minimum experience in a Health & Safety role in a Construction related /Heavy Industrial environment.
An expert understanding of and practical application of Health & Safety and associated legislation within NZ
Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate HSE discipline.
