We thought we'd have a bit of a change and start the meeting at 5.30pm. This proved to be a great success with a lot of different members attending. A change of venue also contributed to a successful evening. A big thanks to Beca for providing such great hospitality.
Darach opened the meeting by welcoming everyone and highlighting the significance of the HAZANZ register.
Watch out - a survey is coming your way ....... It's really important that our committee know what members want, so they will be forwarding a short survey to members soon. They promise to keep the survey simple, so please ensure you complete it. This means they can work towards what it is the members want and need.
The meeting then kicked off with Kylie Moore from Tauranga City Council giving an interesting presentation as to why procurement is important and how it fits in and compliments health and safety.

Thank you for joining the Women in Safety Excellence (WISE) network.
We hold various online and face-to-face events throughout the year and if one occurs near you, we would love to meet you in person.
LinkedIn - Please make sure you join our LinkedIn group to stay connected and on top of our planned webinars and events. We encourage you to post anything in the WISE group page that you think other network members would find useful or inspiring. Please don't be shy. The more we reach out, the more we connect with each other, and the more we can help each other on our journeys.
We might send you the occasional email but our web page on the NZISM website is always the best place to go for an overview of what's coming up in the WISE calendar.
Best wishes,
